How to get duplicate Aadhar Card

How to Download Duplicate e-Aadhar Card Online
In case a person does not have the acknowledgment slip, he can find the enrolment number/aadhar number from the UIDAI website. Aadhar can be retrieved by visiting the Aadhar Enrolment Centre as well. You can get a duplicate Aadhar card copy in case you have lost/misplaced your Aadhar card or if you don’t know your Aadhar number or Enrolment ID.
. Go to the official UIDAI website at https://resident.uidai.gov.in/find-uid-eid
. Choose either "Aadhar No (UID)†or "Enrolment No (EID)â€.
. Input basic information like the name, email address and mobile number registered with UID.
. Type in the security code as displayed on the screen and click on the "Get OTP†button.
. An OTP will be sent to the person’s registered mobile number/e-mail address.
. Input the OTP received on the mobile number and click on the "Verify OTP†button.
. Then, you will receive a message on your mobile number containing your Aadhar or Enrolment number.
. After getting the Aadhar number or enrolment id, the user can visit the website at https://eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/
. You will be asked to select your Aadhar Number (UID) or Enrolment ID (EID)
. Input your Aadhar number or Enrolment ID, full name, pin code, security text as shown in the tab and mobile number.
. An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number.
. Input the OTP received on mobile in the "Enter OTP†tab and click on "Validate and Downloadâ€
Your Aadhar will be downloaded as a PDF file.
Take print out of this file that will be your new Aadhar Card.
Duplicate e-Aadhar Card Offline
People can alternatively get a duplicate copy of Aadhar card offline by either visiting the Aadhar Enrolment Centre or by calling the toll-free number.
TOLL-FREE NUMBER
Users can call UIDAI’s toll-free number 1947 and request for a duplicate Aadhar. They have to follow the following steps:
. Call the UIDAI’s toll-free number 1800-180-1947 or 1947
. Follow the IVR options and choose the option to talk to the Aadhar executive.
. Place a request with the executive for a duplicate copy of your Aadhar card.
. The executive will ask you a few questions to verify your identity.
. Once verified, the executive will accept your request and initiate the process.
A duplicate Aadhar card will be sent to the mentioned residential address by post.
